Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt left no doubt today where he stands on Russia’s brutal dictator Vladimir Putin.

It’s precisely where Donald Trump wants him to be: in silent deference to the murderous thug presently threatening world stability with the prospect of nuclear weapons in space. Nothing to see here on that account, as far our junior senator is concerned.

In a softball interview today with famed election denier Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business “Mornings with Maria,” Schmitt left no doubt today that he is part of what former Rep. Liz Cheney has labeled “the Putin wing” of the Republican Party.
