JOSH HAWLEY'S ISSUES WITH JEWS CANNOT BE HIDDEN BY HIS ISRAEL BLUSTER

He got owned yesterday for foisting his chutzpah on the wrong guy

Sen. Josh Hawley fancies himself as one of the staunchest supporters of the state of Israel in the U.S. Senate, or anywhere else, for that matter.

Far be it from me to question that. No one runs to a camera faster than Hawley to proclaim the importance of the Jewish state. At a minimum, he convincingly depicts someone who cares about it.

And Israel isn’t the nation whose election he tried to overturn.

But no number of public condemnations of anti-Semitism – and Hawley serves up plenty – can conceal the Senator’s political dark side where Jews are concerned. And this transcends partisanship.

He’s the anti-mensch. And it caught up with him Tuesday.
