MISSOURI’S CRIME FIGHTERS THROW DOWN FOR CRIMINAL ONE
If Donald Trump did it, then it must be legal
The three most recent attorneys general of the state of Missouri are rallying around a stupendously ironic cause: Not enforcing the law.
The very filing of Indictment # 71543 by the grand jury of New York County has triggered ballistic responses from Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt – the two most recent Missouri attorneys general – and from the current one, Atty. Gen. Andrew Bailey. It seems these men of the law don’t believe it should apply to the defendant named in indictment # 71543: Donald John Trump.
Everyone knows the politics here. But it’s other-worldly to witness these three men who were paid by Missouri taxpayers to uphold our laws castigating a fellow prosecutor – Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg -- for the act of enforcing the laws of his jurisdiction.
Hawley used his official Senate account for the overtly political purpose of republishing his tweets – as “press releases” – through which the graduate of Yale Law School offered his in-depth legal analysis:
